Tonight, over 7000 websites (including mine) will go black to protest censorship by the US government. The SOPA and PIPA bills in Congress if passed would challenge our access to information in order to allow certain industries to continue to profit within their present paradigm. Reddit and Wikipedia are among the websites participating in the action. The editors of Wikipedia made their decision based on a consensus-building process.
